The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part One

All we can say to sum up The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part One is EPIC. But then again that just doesn’t seem enough. In fact, there just aren’t any words to describe how amazing this movie actually is.
It’s true to say that Breaking Dawn Part One is the darkest of the franchise so far, so it was nice that the tone was set so beautifully with the much awaited nuptials of Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) with the biggest wedding of the year.

The much talked about sex scene was actually tasteful, yet very romantic, and the humorous side of Bella trying to seduce Edward after their first sexual encounter in which he leaves her bruised like a peach (Eddy we didn’t know you had it in ya!) made for very amusing viewing, until he finally does give in and we all know what comes next…

Yep, you got it. Bella is knocked up with a half human, half vampire child, who begins to grow at an alarming rate, and in spite of Edward and Jacob’s attempts at trying to change Bella’s mind about delivering the child that will kill her, Bella believes that she is strong enough and unfortunately she is proven wrong. The birth scene has to be the most gruesome thing you will find in a 12A film! Parents, the scene is very graphic, so discretion is advised, however if you wish to put your kids off sex and child birth for life, then go right ahead!
There are some very moving performances all around from the three leads. Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were just amazing, their portrayal of a newly married couple battling with the decision on what to do when faced with a life or death situation was very endearing, which leads up to a dramatic conclusion and sets up Breaking Dawn Part Two perfectly.
All you twihards out there, enjoy! You will not be disappointed!
