Cheryl Cole stepped out in Cannes earlier this evening sporting a very grown up and demure look…

This however, will be the only nice thing I say about the dress. Now, I want to make it clear that I LOVE Cheryl, but I can feel a serious sack the stylist moment coming because this dress is simply awful!

Discussing the Stephane Rolland dress on Twitter with the Daily Express’s junior stylist Antonia Kraskowski and friend to IBH showbiz reporter Elisa Roche, we all agreed that the dress just doesn’t cut it…

 ’I think she looks like she’s been chopped off at the legs. Red on a red carpet rarely works.’ tweeted Antonia 

While Elisa said: ‘It’s a fantastic dress but shame that the feathers blend into the red carpet. Still, a v grown up look’

The dress also is very similar to Beyonce’s dress at the Met Ball…
