Geri Halliwell confirmed for X Factor guest Judge

I can’t say that I’m too thrilled that Geri Halliwell has been confirmed for a guest judge when X Factor auditions open in Liverpool tomorrow…

Not that I don’t like the girl, I do. But they made her look like a right tit last time when she stood in for Dannii Minogue when she was on maternity leave in 2010.

“I’m incredibly excited and proud to join The X Factor in Liverpool and have the opportunity to find a new star,” Geri said. ”Those four seats on the panel are the hottest seats in Britain right now.

“I hope to share all my experience and the ups and the downs of how to make it globally in the music industry with the contestants and I’m really looking forward to having a blast with Gary, Tulisa and the lovely Louis.”

However, we’re hearing that tomorrow will be judgement day for the former Spice Girl, because if she wows audiences she could potentially be offered the role full time, which will undoubtedly help her career.

 Geri was first linked to the role yesterday, after it was reported that Dannii refused a £1 Million deal to return to the show in the place of Kelly Rowland who left the panel earlier this year.

It will definitely be interesting to see Geri once again, I just hope they edit her better, because she’s a genuinely nice girl. At least she will get one over Emma Bunton who was just faffing around on a judging panel for a show nobody really watches!
