Desperate Housewives actress Kathryn Joosten dies

Desperate Housewives actress Kathryn Joosten who was known for her role as nosey neighbour Mrs McClusky has sadly lost her battle with lung cancer aged 72.She died with her family by her side at her home in Westlake Village, 40 miles northwest of Los Angeles, said her publicist, Nadine Jolson. She had battled the disease since being diagnosed in 2001.

The news comes less than three weeks after her character, Karen McCluskey, died of the illness during the final episode of Desperate Housewives.

So sad about this, literally she was a bad ass lady, and will live on and on through her various television roles for a long time to come. Rest in peace darling!
