17-year old arrested over Tom Daley twitter abuse

A 17-year-old has been arrested while police investigate a series of vile messages sent to Olympic diver Tom Daley on Twitter…
Dorset Police said in a tweet early this morning (July 31): “Regarding tweets to @TomDaley1994 – 17-year-old man arrested this morning at a guest house in the Weymouth area. Enquiries continue.”
The heartless individual apologised and claimed that he didn’t know that Tom’s Dad had passed away, but then continued to post abusive messages.
He called Daley a “c**t”, and a “little p***y”, he added: “i’m going to find you and i’m going to drown you in the pool you cocky tw*t your a nobody people like you make me sick”
Tom didn’t let the idiocy of the situation get to him, and later tweeted his followers: “Thank you everyone for all your support before, during and after the synchro, the atmosphere was incredible! Now focussing on the individual.”
